New#1: Ampersands...

The Unique Input Field is broken in Symphony 2.0.7 RC2, since it does a different (older) kind of input validation, leading to encoded characters in the database.

Shouldn’t the “unique input” part of this field be brought to the standard Text Input field? Since the Unique Text Input Field does not extend the Text Input field, but rather re-builds the functionality, problems are unavoidable. (I think the “uniqueness” feature could be core feature of Symphony.)
