Sorry, found it; it's TestXSLT
Great application, but doesn't work with Lion, because it requires Rosetta.
Oh; I just downloaded it at work (where I have 10.6) and was very happy. Got Lion at home, though – are there any alternatives?

You could also take look at Ximplify. It is not free. I use it to fine tune xslt. The developer is fairly proactive and it runs on Lion et al.

You can use the terminal xsltproc styles.xsl data.xml to see the result in the window, or I found Coderunner on the App Store, writeup here
