Hi everyone.

I'm getting the following errors on a symphony installation.

XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(): error
XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(): Local file read for /var/www/web36/html/workspace/pages/test.xsl refused
XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(): error
XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(): xsl:import: read rights for      /var/www/web36/html/workspace/pages/test.xsl denied
XSLTProcessor::transformToXml(): No stylesheet associated to this object

Symphony is running on a Debian Lenny VM (Paralles Confixx) hosted by dmsolutions.de. Read/Write Permissions are fine, though.

I could hardly find anything about local file read restrictions / errors for libxslt except there might be some security issues with php reported here back in 2010.

Has anyone experienced similar issues concerning dmsolutions.de, symphony and libxslt?

Thanks in advance, Thomas

I haven't come across this before but have you tried to disable the php5-librdf module as described in that PHP bug?

I'd tried this, but I do not have any possibility to configure php settings within the Confixx Admin Panel. And unfortunately that's all i have to work with. :(

Can you paste the ls -al directory-listings of /var/www/web36/html/ and /var/www/web36/html/workspace/pages/, just to make sure?

I'll post a screenshot, since no shell access :(

But read rights are fine. I've also tried to chmod 777 for workspace and pages, but that doesn't help either

One thing I forgot to mention. PHP doesn't run as apache module, it is configured via a cgi-script I have no access to.

I got a response message form the host. They said, they tested this issue against sym. v 2.2 and it would work. The error appears in 2.2.1 and later.

That's weird, symphony/lib/toolkit/class.xsltprocess.php hasn't been changed inbetween 2.2 and 2.2.1.

You could install 2.2 on your server, make sure it works and then update it to 2.2.1 to make sure there is indeed a bug.

hm, did install 2.2, same error.
