Hi all,

I'm working on project for work. Demo located at http://24hazwopper.treytucker.com

For some reason I can not get the jquery to run. As you can see when the page loads, both the google jquery library and my global.js file load properly. But the simple test command isn't running. If I run that exact jquery command in the console, however, it performs properly. I've browsed this thread

and searched google a while with no real progress. This has eaten a couple hours for me so any help is mucho mucho appreciated.

I have loaded my js as an external file (a standard practice I've had for a while) but it's just not running. I'm not that experienced of a js troubleshooter, so it may simply be my script and not a Symphony issue.

Thanks all!

I can't see anything wrong at a quick glance, but I would try change the jquery url to be http:// protocol instead of https:// and I would load the global.js file at the bottom of the page.

Best practice is to only have jquery.js and modernizr.js at the top of the document, and have all other .js files at the end of the document.

Not sure if this will fix it (I'd be surprised if it did), but you have some validation errors concerning li's and that div. Getting rid of those might be worth a try.

<script type="text/javasrcipt" ...>

javasrcipt doesn't look that right to me ;)

holy cow...alpacaaa thank you. I have spent hours troubleshooting this. Wow. I feel stupid. Syntax first. Always check syntax first. Prehaps I'm dsylexic adn didnt konw it.

Man. Thanks all for the time and responses.
