Symphony.

Hi, very new to Symphony and XSL!

I have a home page displaying 5 recent blog posts (title, date, body) and I also want to display a list of say 10 or more recent posts (title, date) in a sidebar.

I'm wondering if I could create one data source to handle both, or do I have to create a data source for both.

Create a datasource for each :)

Yep create two data sources, for example Posts: full and Posts: list. I tend to name my data sources with the section name followed by something describing its use.
