Hi so I installed the update 201 from rev5. I got everything working except when I tryed to edit a section I get this error,

Line 51 – Could not find Field sectionlink at /field.sectionlink.php. If the Field was provided by an Extension, ensure that it is installed, and enabled.

I did some digging and that file doesnt exist in 2.01 i found it in my back up of beta5 and put it in the symphony lib toolkit fields folder and things seem to work, but this has to not set up correctly.

will this cause issues on the next update?

The Section Link field was dropped at the official 2.0 release in favour of the Select Box Link field. I don;t think upgrading to future versions will break this, but I would strongly recommend upgrading your section associations to the Section Link field instead for future-proofing.

How easy this will be, I'm not so sure.

Well, it shouldn't, as the fields API is not going to change until at least version 2.1 and even then it probably won't break anything. The only hassle is that each time you update you'll need to put a copy of that file back.

Indeed. One option is just to create a new "Select Box Link" field in the section and manually update each entry. How much data would require migration? An automated approach wouldn't be too hard, but could get a little hands on.

Sorry to revive this thread, but I have the exact same problem, except I get the error if I try to go anywhere (index.php or /symphony). I don't have any content yet, but I have started working on the CSS and HTML, so I'd rather not just do a complete reinstall. Is this something I can do in the database?
