Hello,

I have just freshly installed Symphony and for whatever reason, trying to access any page beyond the frontend, such as /symphony or /archive brings up this err:

I can't for the life of me work out why I don't have privileges.

Any help is much appreciated.

Looks like your rewrite rules are not working. Is mod_rewrite enabled on your server?

Visit example.com/index.php?mode=administration. If you can see your admin section that way, then the problem is either that you do not have an .htaccess file at the base of your Symphony install or your web server has mod_rewrite disabled.

Thanks for the speedy response guys. Now that I've done a bit of research on the terms, I think it's because Namesco doesn't come with a mod_rewrite function. Found this article in the hope that it fixes it.
