The Members extension hasn’t yet been released. I urge you NOT to use the old, unstable version. It’s not supported.
A new version is expected soon.
ok thanks czheng
then how to implement to registration -> member activation code in symphony
Wait for the official extension ;)
You could try to write a whole set of custom data sources and events yourself, but by the time you got that sorted out, the extension would probably be ready, at least in beta form…
ok thanks czheng
how soon developers decide us to release extension Membership?
It’s on the table for March but putting a deadline on it isn’t going to happen as everyone involved is putting their own time in. I too am holding off a few projects until it’s available, and am kind of eager to see it, but understanding the amount of excellent work that’s gone into Symphony 2.2 so far, I’m more than happy to wait.
If you can hold on, you will not be disappointed. In my personal opinion, the new Members extension is going to make Symphony stand up with the most well known CMSs (even though we stand above them for flexibility), it’s all that’s been missing in my opinion so far.
Not too long now though ;o)
