I’m using XML Importers and cron to regularly update a section from an XML feed. My section includes a ‘date’ field, but the XML feed does not. The feed items have a unique ID and existing entries can be updated by XML Importer.
I would like for the date field to be set when a new entry is created, but not updated to the current date when entries are updated. Is this possible, using a helper function perhaps?
