I’m afraid you can’t.
This is a feature wich is planned to be introduced in Symphony 2.1.

Well, it should be possible if you create an extension and hook into the navigation using a delegate and hide certain path based on the author information. But you would either have to hardcode these author information or you would have to build a custom interface for it.

Hm… I was trying to create an extension, but I am not so much into Symphony yet so progress there is very minimal. I was hoping there was an existing solution. It seems that hardcoding author information is they way to go for me now.

Take a look on some extensions, and try to adapt it to your needs.
