Hi, is multilingual content feature implemented?

If you mean translations of the backend, then partially. There are active efforts to provide full translations for the Symphony interface.

If you want to build a multilingual site then yes, this can be done. Symphony doesn’t provide “multilingual features” per se, since Symphony does not prescribe any type of specific functionality. However it does provide you with the tools to make it possible.

There is a Language field which would allow you as an author to assign the language of the content you are creating. When getting this content into your pages using a Data Source you can then filter by a specific language code.

But to do i18n of content properly there are many things to consider like date, time and currency notations. Best would be to have some kind of toolkit for it, similar like the dojo toolkit Could we tap into some kind of php class for an extension, or has any effort has been made in that direction?
