Hey all,

I need to put my datasource output xml into a namespace. I’ve done some looking around, and I’m guessing I can’t do this with an extension (would be awesome if I’m wrong about that). Where would I go modify

1. The datasource creation interface and
2. The datasource php creation.

I’m basically looking to add a field for a namespace prefix + URI in the DS creation form, then have that added to the xml assembly in the datasource.php. Any ideas?

OK, so I’ve narrowed this down a bit. It looks like I would need to do one of a couple things:

1. Somehow replace the content.blueprintsdatasources.php’s use of the datasource.tpl file, replacing it with my own .tpl file.
2. Use the FrontendPrePageResolve delegate to go back through the generated datasource elements, pull the namespace field content from the section (is that possible?) and insert it into the appropriate elements.

Neither of these sound like much fun.
