Yup, permissions seem fine and I’m not getting any errors, just no success either.

I can’t reproduce this on a clean install from master or integration unfortunately (of fortunately, depending on the side of the fence you’re on).
Is there any particular preference that your trying to save? I’ve just got Maintenance Mode enabled, so my only options in Preferences are Maintenance Mode and Author Languages.

Liaised with Max on this. Turns out the Cache Lite extension was the culprit. Issue Closed.

Clean install of 2.0.7 and I can’t seem to get anything to save under
/system/preferences/. It’s as though the “Save” delegate isn’t executing properly—anyone else having problems?
